Tom Adler · Engineer, Israel

I build systems that sense, stream and think.

From a sensor on a circuit board to live video and AI in the cloud, I design, build and ship the whole chain. Here's what I can build for you, and what I've built so far.

01
DronesVideo

Drone detection with live video

A large-scale drone-detection pipeline integrated with live video streaming, so operators see the detections and the feed together.

  • One screen. Detections and the live feed side by side, so nobody switches between tools.
  • Low latency. Video reaches operator screens over LiveKit in near real time.
  • Built for scale. A pipeline designed for many camera feeds at once.

SensingNavigation

Dead reckoning under GPS jamming

Navigation that keeps estimating position when GPS is jammed, plus the tooling to measure how well it holds up.

  • Keeps going. Position keeps updating when GPS drops out.
  • Measured. Every change is scored against GPS ground truth on recorded runs.
  • Works on foot. A pedestrian mode tuned for a phone carried in a pocket.

Offline arrival logger

A self-contained check-in station for conferences. It records who arrived, when, and at which entrance, with no internet connection at all.

  • Nothing to hack remotely. The wireless chip is physically removed, so there is no network to attack.
  • Fast check-in. Tap an NFC badge or swipe a magnetic card at the door.
  • Clear records. Who arrived, when, and at which entrance.

MobileReal-time

Real-time emergency-response platform

Mobile app, web console and a live sensor map for a security and emergency-response service.

  • Shared picture. People in the field and the control room see the same live map.
  • Real-time. Updates flow between mobile and web as they happen.
  • Low upkeep. A managed cloud backend, with no servers to run.

AICloud

WhatsApp AI assistant

An LLM assistant that answers people on WhatsApp from the client's own content, running serverless on AWS, with a cost model to price it.

  • Grounded answers. Replies come from the client's own content, not generic web text.
  • Pay per use. Serverless, so cost follows actual usage.
  • Priced with data. A cost simulator set the customer's pricing before launch.

WebNavigation

SHVIL bike navigation

A bike navigation web app for Tel Aviv and Ramat Gan, routing on live OpenStreetMap data.

  • Made for bikes. Routes come from a bike routing engine, not a car one.
  • Current maps. Built on live OpenStreetMap data for local streets and paths.
  • Nothing to install. Runs in any browser.
